- Referrals must be new customers to Family Auto Centers. If a customer is in our Data Management System and has bought a vehicle from us in the past a referral is not eligible.
- Referrals must be identified upfront, at the time of the transaction. There is no protesting a referral from, for example, "2 weeks ago." As you can imagine, if this rule wasn't followed the program could be abused. This is outlined in more detail below.
- Once we make a deal and deliver the car a $100 referral check will be sent. Keep in mind that not all referrals will buy/be able to buy a vehicle for various reasons.
- The individual referred must notify their salesman or manager before negotiation.
- The individual being referred must take delivery within 60 days of being referred.
- A previous customer cannot co-sign for a new customer and receive a referral.
Prospect/potential referral information must be submitted to a Family Auto Centers manager prior to the prospect/referral coming into the store with the address of the person receiving the referral check (Name, Street Address, City, State, and Zip Code). This will give us an accurate record of all referrals and clear up any confusion as to who is a referral. If you don't have or use e-mail we ask that you ask a friend of family member to submit your information on your behalf.
